Laos
Well - we're back in Vientiane after exploring Luang Prabang and surrounding countryside. Amazing mountains and forests and quite extraordinary Plain of Jars sites despite bomb craters and UXO (unexploded ordinance - mainly cluster bombs here) even after 35 yrs since USA raids. We are off tomorrow to the forests and will be uncontactable until 23rd when we fly back to Bangkok - and then we're almost home!!! Lots of love Ann and Iain

As always, it's nice to read what you're getting up to :) Can't believe you'll be back soon, Ryan and I will have to come up and visit. I thought it'd be nice if once you've settled in again, you have the wider family over and we can come up too, as I was disappointed to miss people when Hils had aunts/uncles etc round over xmas. It'd be great to catch up with everyone! I'm off out for someone's birthday bash soon, so I'd better go and change into 20 outfits then put back on the one I tried first, this is how these things work. Anyway, things are good with me, and Ryan's having a great time in his new job. Enjoy the last little bit of your travels!! Lots of love, Lizzy x
It will be lovely to have you back in the country. Here, our long-delayed OFSTED is happening this week. So I too am going incommunicado whilst it happens.
